City Supporters Scheme Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What are City Points?

A. City Points are awarded to supporters for the purchase of season tickets, matchday tickets, and other supporter memberships and/or benefits that the club makes available from time-to-time.

Due to the limited amount of tickets available for some games, including away fixtures and certain cup fixtures, supporters are to submit an application for a matchday ticket. In cases where the demand for these tickets outweighs the supply, tickets will often be distributed on a City Point basis, with priority being given to applicants with the highest number of points.

Q. How do I earn City Points?

A. Season-ticket holders and supporters accrue City Points in different ways.

Season-ticket holders receive a number of points for renewing their season ticket each season.

Please note that points will only be awarded once per customer number for any given game, even if multiple tickets are purchased.

Q. How many points are earned per game or product?

A. The number of points awarded per game will depend on the category of each product. Generally speaking, points are awarded as follows:

  • Season Tickets - 200 points
  • 'We are the Bantams' membership - 100 points
  • Away Priority - 50 points [retired 2021/22]
  • 1903 Club Membership - 40 points [retired 2021/22]
  • Attending a home fixture - 20 points
  • Attending an away fixture - 20 points
  • Attending a home pre-season fixture - 10 points

Points are awarded once per ticket and/or membership and/or product, meaning you will not receive duplicate points for purchasing more than one of the same item.

Q. When do points get added?

A. Points for individual games, where applicable, are typically added within two weeks of the fixture being played, subject to a supporter's attendance at the game being confirmed.

Points for season-ticket purchases are typically awarded within a week, or on a rolling basis if a supporter purchases a ticket after loyalty points have started to be applied.

Q. How can I check my loyalty points total?

A. You are usually able to check your points total by logging into your online e-ticketing account. On occasion, you may find that your total is not available to view, in which case we would encourage you to try checking again at a later date.

Q. How is my points total calculated?

A. City Points originally awarded for renewal to Bradford City AFC season-ticket holders for the 2021/22 season will be carried over to the 2022/23 season.

The total number of loyalty points for the 2022/23 season will consist of the loyalty points gained in the previous full season, and then on a rolling basis.

Therefore, for the start of the 2022/23 season the points gained for continuous membership will be totalled for the following seasons:

(a)  2021/22 – complete

(b)  2022/23 – on a rolling accrual basis

Please note that points totals are dependent on continuous membership. Should your season ticket lapse at any stage*, you will lose any points you may previously have accrued.

Finally, if you purchase a matchday ticket but cancel your ticket in advance of the game being played, you will lose any points you may already have been awarded for that game.

*supporters who pay via direct debit must ensure that their account is up to date. Any lapse in payment longer than seven days will result in their season ticket points being forfeited. For doubt the reinstation of any loyalty points lost through default remains at the sole discretion of the Head of Ticketing.

Q. Has the City Supporters' Scheme been given a new name?

A. Yes. The City Supporters Scheme initially launched as Bradford City AFC's Loyalty Scheme, and was referred to as this for the 2021/22 and 2033/23 seasons. It changed names to the City Supporters' Scheme in June 2023, following a survey which invited feedback on its structure. To read full details, please CLICK HERE

Q. Why do City Points work on a rolling basis?

A. The City Supporters Scheme aims to show recognition to supporters who have maintained the most active match attendance records over a number of years.

This ensures that supporters who may have accrued a large number of points years ago but no longer attend matches frequently do not maintain an unfair advantage.

Q. Are City Points transferable?

A. City Points are non-transferable.

Q. How many tickets can I buy?

A. You are limited to a maximum of one (1) ticket per account through the City Supporters Scheme.
